Job Title: Technical Data Manager

Job Summary:

Integrated Resources is seeking a highly skilled Technical Data Manager to support ongoing research initiatives. This role involves contributing to informatics and data management initiatives, developing processes for data management and curation, and empowering scientists with tools and processes to support project objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to informatics and data management initiatives in Research.

• Develop, enhance, and automate processes for queuing and prioritizing data management and curation requests.

• Empower scientists with tools and processes needed to support project objectives.

• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely collection, delivery, and tracking of data from translational, CRO, or collaborating laboratories for curation, ingestion, and delivery to computational scientists.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with at least 2-3 years of experience in biomedical data management, data engineering, quality assurance, assay development, specimen data management, or a related discipline.

• Excellent scripting skills in R or Python programming.

• Experience with REST API and command line interfaces.

• General understanding of cloud computing/data storage concepts (S3, NFS).

• Extensive experience managing, processing, and applying quality control metrics and processes to a wide range of data types in support of Research.

• Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable working independently, and as part of a collaborative team, and excellent critical thinking, analytical skills, and judgment.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience with biological data, knowledge of molecular biology techniques.

• Experience with version control and project management tools.

• Demonstrable ability to work among a large multidisciplinary team.

• Exposure to AGILE methodology and principles.

• Experience working in a dynamic fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
