Job Title: Radiology Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Surgery Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing fluoroscopic procedures, imaging patient care, and providing excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
  • Provide imaging patient care, file room, general clerical, and physician assistance duties.
  • Position patients for radiologic examinations, shield patients appropriately, and prepare them for procedures.
  • Operate radiologic machines, take x-rays, and produce high-quality images for diagnosis.
  • Develop, make copies, and fix x-ray films, as well as prepare solutions for processing.
  • Assist in fluoroscopic work, make clinical photographs, and maintain equipment and quarters.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, surround exposed areas with radiation protection devices, and use instruments to measure section thickness.
  • Keep records and files, make reports, and perform other related duties.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology.
  • Two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods, or successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology.
  • Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment, regional and gross anatomy, and standardized radiologic clinical procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, administer emergency aid, and work individually or as part of a team.
