About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Southeast Orthopedic Specialists. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience from the start.
  • Produce high-quality radiographs to assist in the diagnosis of illnesses or injuries, utilizing your expertise and attention to detail.
  • Educate patients regarding the procedure, providing clear and concise information to alleviate any concerns.
  • Create and maintain accurate patient electronic medical records (EMRs), ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with our healthcare team.
  • Provide patients with copies of their images upon request, demonstrating a commitment to transparency and patient-centered care.
  • Maintain quality control checks to ensure our X-ray units meet the highest standards, adhering to laws, rules, and departmental policies.
  • Clean, maintain, and perform minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Protect patients and other personnel from radiation hazards, upholding the highest standards of safety and well-being.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as a BMO (Board of Medical Imaging) certified technologist.
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical patient setting, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system knowledge and proficiency.
  • Valid state license and BMO certification.
