Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician PRN to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing fluoroscopic procedures, positioning patients, and operating radiologic machines to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
  • Position patients for radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Operate radiologic machines, taking x-ray images of various body parts for diagnostic purposes.
  • Develop, process, and maintain x-ray films, ensuring high-quality images.
  • Assist in fluoroscopic work, making clinical photographs, and maintaining equipment and quarters.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the Florida State Department of Health Services.
  • Two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work individually or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
