Job Title: Product Development Advanced Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead programs of major importance to the organization's interests, driving innovation and growth.
  • Support new product development and commercialization through design for manufacturing leadership, component procurement, manufacturing line startup, distribution planning, and service center readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, marketers, clinicians, regulatory experts, and quality professionals, to develop user needs and manufacturing and service requirements.
  • Facilitate the inclusion of DFM principles during new product design and development.
  • Manage the selection of component suppliers and new product manufacturing sites.
  • Develop COGS, manufacturing, distribution, and servicing cost analyses related to newly developed products.
  • Develop project plans and track progress related to the above initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a discipline such as Project Engineer, Sr. Product/Manufacturing Engineer, or Engineering Department Group Leader.
  • Advanced Microsoft application skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to apply a broad range of expertise in principles, practices, and procedures of particular functions to technology-related issues.
  • Effective project management experience and lead manufacturing or operations experience.
  • Experience in regulated design environments, specifically medical device development, FDA, or ISO registered work experience.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate required problem-solving communications.
