About the Opportunity

DataX Connect is partnering with a global real estate company to make a significant impact in the data center and mission-critical sector.

This role will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, with relocation packages available for the right candidate.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead multiple large data center builds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage complex commissioning projects across various sectors, working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Develop and implement commissioning processes and deliverables in accordance with ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED requirements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with General Contractors, trades, inspectors, and AHJs to ensure QA/QC program execution for large critical facility construction and commissioning.
  • Review and execute commissioning design drawings and specifications, as well as submittals and shop drawings.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A recognized university technical degree or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience using mechanical testing meters and equipment to analyze and report on test results.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant mechanical or electrical engineering and/or field-testing experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of Data Center experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple project schedules.
