The Operating Room X-Ray Radiology Technologist will be responsible for setting up sterile trays and assisting radiologists during procedures such as myelograms, arthograms, and steroid injections. The technologist will also be responsible for emergent X-rays from the ED and in-patient areas, as well as routine X-rays ordered.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up sterile trays and assist radiologists during procedures
- Perform emergent X-rays from the ED and in-patient areas
- Conduct routine X-rays ordered
- Work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Communicate with staff, physicians, patients, and families
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- AART Registered in Radiology
- Experience with C-arm, O-arm, and Portable Digital Equipment
- BLS current
- Current Texas state license to Texas Medical Board
- 3 years of hospital experience preferred
