Job Summary

As a Manager II Behavioral Health Psychology, you will be responsible for leading a medium-sized team or program, with both administrative and client caseload responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in behavioral health psychology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Makes budget recommendations and has overall personnel management responsibility (HR, personnel, compensation issues)
  • Conducts performance evaluations and has counseling/disciplinary responsibilities
  • Responsible for overall program design and operations within the unit
  • Accountable for access outcomes and allocation of resources
  • May participate on regional committees
Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board certified psychiatrist
  • Ph.D, Psy.D, or Ed.D in clinical or counseling required from an accredited college or university
  • Psiychologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier required at hire
  • Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations and APA standards as it related to client treatment, patient rights and client/patient confidentiality

Work Environment

This role is based in California, San Jose, and requires a flexible work schedule with 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
