POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Corporate Physical Security Office is tasked with ensuring the safety of personnel and protecting valuable assets from theft and unauthorized access. The Security Operations Supervisor will assess and address compliance issues within the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that Security Agents adhere to the policies and directives set forth by the Corporate Security Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a communication link for compliance issues from Corporate Security for investigation and resolution.
- Oversee and report on the effectiveness of the company's compliance and ethics initiatives, providing guidance to Security Agents.
- Implement and uphold policies established by the Corporate Security Office to prevent unethical or illegal conduct.
- Review and clarify the Standards of Conduct to ensure Security Agents' compliance with directives.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Deputy Security Manager to address compliance issues through appropriate channels.
- Consult with Corporate Security as necessary to address new compliance matters.
- Investigate reported violations of rules and regulations, documenting findings for the Deputy Security Manager.
- Ensure that compliance concerns within Quanta Computer - Nashville are properly evaluated and resolved.
- Monitor compliance activities across shifts to stay informed on trends and issues.
- Identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified issues, offering guidance on prevention strategies.
- Provide regular reports to the Corporate Deputy Security Manager regarding compliance operations and progress.
- Ensure accurate reporting of violations to the Corporate Deputy Security Manager as required.
- Establish and maintain an effective compliance communication program, promoting awareness of the Standards of Conduct and compliance policies.
- Mentor and train Security Agents to enhance their skills.
- Temporarily fill Security Agent positions as needed.
- Conduct security patrols and monitoring activities.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Well-organized with effective task prioritization skills.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Capacity to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to navigate a production facility and travel between buildings regularly.
- Proficient in monitoring compliance via computer screens for long durations.
- Ability to distinguish colors and communicate effectively in English; bilingual in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
