POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Corporate Physical Security Office is tasked with ensuring the safety of personnel and protecting valuable technological assets from theft and espionage. The Security Operations Supervisor is responsible for assessing compliance matters within the organization. This role guarantees that Security Agents adhere to the policies and directives set forth by the Corporate Security Management team, ensuring that conduct aligns with the company's Standards of Conduct.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a communication conduit for compliance issues directed to the Corporate Security resources for thorough investigation and resolution.
  • Oversee and report on the effectiveness of the company's compliance and ethics initiatives, providing guidance to Security Agents on compliance-related matters.
  • Implement and uphold policies and procedures established by the Corporate Security Office to manage the Compliance Program and its activities, preventing any illegal or unethical conduct.
  • Review and interpret the Standards of Conduct, offering direction to Security Agents to ensure adherence to Corporate Security Office directives.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Deputy Security Manager to channel compliance issues to the appropriate investigative resources.
  • Consult with the Corporate Security Office as necessary to address new compliance challenges.
  • Investigate reported breaches of rules, regulations, and policies, documenting all findings for the Deputy Security Manager.
  • Ensure that compliance issues within Quanta Computer - Nashville are evaluated, investigated, and resolved effectively.
  • Monitor and coordinate compliance activities across shifts to stay informed on compliance status and identify trends.
  • Identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address issues and provide guidance on avoiding similar situations in the future.
  • Regularly report to the Corporate Deputy Security Manager on the progress of compliance efforts.
  • Ensure proper documentation of violations or potential violations to the Corporate Deputy Security Manager as required.
  • Establish and maintain an effective compliance communication strategy for Corporate Quanta Computer Security, promoting (a) the Open Door Policy, (b) awareness of the Standards of Conduct, and (c) understanding of compliance issues and related policies.
  • Mentor and train Security Agents.
  • Temporarily fill Security Agent positions as needed.
  • Conduct static security and vehicle patrols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree or higher is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A collaborative team player capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Well-organized with effective task prioritization skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Capacity to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to navigate a production facility and travel between buildings regularly.
  • Capability to monitor compliance via computer screens for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to distinguish colors.
  • Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills in Spanish or other languages are preferred.
