Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our team at Regis HR Group. As a key member of our financial team, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of architectural projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review financial reports for project stakeholders, including project managers, executives, and clients.
  • Review and process vendor invoices in accordance with vendor contracts and billing schedules.
  • Monitor project expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Prepare and review client invoices in accordance with project contracts and billing schedules.
  • Track client payments, address overdue accounts, and manage collections.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and GAAP standards.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation related to financial transactions, contracts, and change orders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a project accountant, preferably 3+ years with accounting for an architecture or construction firm.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting principles, cost management, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GAAP, AIA contracts).
