At BRP, we're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Professional to join our team in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with facility operations and engineering teams to address equipment-related action items through repair and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and electronic troubleshooting, with knowledge of PLCs, industrial touchscreen, HMI, industrial SCADA systems, and industrial LAN systems. Proficiency in CNC programming, industrial robotics programming, and frequency drives is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to design and write ladder logic, design and build electrical circuits, and proficient knowledge of industrial electronic heat control systems.

We're offering a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience. This role also comes with a range of benefits, including a discretionary annual bonus, generous paid time off, and a dollar-for-dollar match on retirement savings. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years of maintenance or related experience, or 5+ years of a combination of education and experience. An Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Controls, or a related field is required. If no degree, a High School Diploma with equivalent knowledge and proficiency in a related field is acceptable.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working closely with operations and engineering teams to address equipment-related action items through repair and maintenance
  • Taking point on all electrical / electronic issues requiring knowledge and use of PLC, touchscreens, robotics, CNC programming and troubleshooting, motor control and drives, electrical panel building, and schematic drawings
  • Installing and maintaining medium and high voltage distribution systems, A.C. and D.C. Motor Controls, and microprocessor and relay-based machine controls
  • Installing and maintaining industrial LAN and SCADA systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining 5-S
  • Establishing and maintaining communication with other team members and support departments ensuring accurate documentation
  • Being proactive with potential problems before they turn into breakdowns
  • Using time effectively to complete as much work as possible within the shift
  • Logging in work orders into Guide system on a daily basis
  • Efficiently following lock-out/tag-out procedure
  • Promoting and modeling safe behavior and BRP values throughout the facility
