Job Title: Wind Turbine Technician

We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at Clearway Energy, Inc. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Repair and replace faulty or damaged components, including electrical wiring, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with wind turbine systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operation of wind turbine systems.
  • Document all work performed, including maintenance activities, repairs, and troubleshooting efforts.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to climb wind turbines and work at heights.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
