Job Summary:

The Receiving Manager is responsible for overseeing the receiving and processing of merchandise in the warehouse. This includes ensuring accuracy of item descriptions and counts, as well as maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy of item descriptions and counts for all incoming and outgoing shipments

Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments

Oversee the receiving and processing of merchandise in the warehouse

Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of merchandise

Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in the receiving department

Requirements:

1 year of experience in a similar role

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to effectively communicate with team members and management

Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Work Environment:

The Receiving Manager will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent exposure to industrial vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
