Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to a schedule to complete both routine and urgent transportation tasks daily.

• Manage the collection and delivery of items from various locations, including laboratories, pharmacies, home care services, hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities. Ensure all transportation details are documented according to departmental standards.

• Assess and monitor weather conditions throughout the shift to anticipate potential delays and plan accordingly.

• Uphold the safety of transported items and the vehicle in compliance with hospital regulations.

• Assist in the onboarding and training of new personnel, tracking their progress in line with departmental protocols.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and uphold the quality of patient care.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Licensure:
A valid driver's license as mandated by hospital policy.

Must successfully complete a motor vehicle background check, driving assessments, and training requirements set by Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Skills:
Proficient verbal and written communication abilities, along with basic computer skills. Capability to utilize hospital-issued mobile devices and communication tracking systems.
