Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist Level II to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select technical factors and equipment to obtain optimal quality scans
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment for procedures throughout the hospital
  • Assist physicians with recommendations for optimal studies and provide pertinent patient history for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintain positive guest relations and ensure patient safety and well-being
  • Comply with hospital safety standards and maintain annual CPR certification
Requirements
  • ARDMS Registry with 2-3 years of experience in ultrasound in a hospital setting
  • Possess high degree of technical knowledge and ability to make diagnostic judgments
  • Ability to work odd hours, including nights and weekends, and respond to emergency call-backs
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform patient handling activities
