Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients and select technical factors to obtain optimal quality images
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment for procedures as requested
  • Assist physicians with recommendations for optimal studies
  • Deliver patient care in accordance with department standards
  • Prepare ultrasound rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
  • Utilize phone etiquette and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Document patient records and maintain accurate inventory of supplies
Requirements:
  • ARDMS Registry eligibility
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to operate portable equipment and deal with ill patients
