The Wealth Advisor acts as a trusted consultant for affluent clients and businesses, focusing on cultivating and enhancing wealth management relationships. This role entails providing comprehensive financial advice on investments, risk management, tax strategies, estate planning, and banking services. The Wealth Advisor is responsible for proactively seeking new wealth management opportunities and serving as the primary contact for a select group of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships by identifying opportunities, implementing strategic business development initiatives, and nurturing referral networks.
- Create and execute a personal business plan aimed at achieving specific revenue and business targets.
- Engage in proactive client meetings, track sales activities, and participate in community events to strengthen relationships.
- Build and nurture quality relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with bankers from various departments to provide clients with interdisciplinary expertise.
- Maintain knowledge of all financial services offered to ensure appropriate referrals and meet annual referral goals.
- Actively participate in community engagement activities.
- Drive the wealth management process through thorough financial planning, supported by our dedicated team.
- Administer trust and fiduciary accounts in collaboration with Trust and Estate Specialists.
- Work alongside clients and their advisors to enhance individual and business estate planning.
- Ensure adherence to client service standards to foster long-lasting relationships.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review plans, update needs, and discuss investment performance.
- Collaborate with investment officers to manage client accounts effectively.
- Fulfill regulatory administrative requirements for client accounts and comply with departmental guidelines.
- Stay informed about industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Complete required training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field required.
- 5-7 years of experience in client-facing roles within personal banking, wealth management, or trust administration.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and sound fiduciary principles.
- Proficient in consultative sales and service delivery.
- Experience with financial planning and CRM software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in delivering presentations and solutions.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Certifications such as CTFA, CFP, or CFA are preferred.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Time Type: Full time
Compensation: The targeted salary for this role is $134,000 - $174,684.00. Incentive compensation and benefits may also be offered, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Health Savings Account, and Paid Time Off. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skills.
