Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Evaluate medical problems of patients in the in-patient setting, devise a management plan of care including further testing and medications, and appropriately requests consultation of other specialties when indicated.
  • Prescribes and monitors medications appropriate to the diagnosis; orders and monitors the appropriateness of emergency interventions.
  • Maintains collegiality with all members of the inter-disciplinary team.

This position requires a MSN with a nurse practitioner focus for Nurse Practitioners or an MPA for Physician Assistants. Additionally, BLS and ACLS Certification are required.
