Key Responsibilities:

Ardurra Group, LLC is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our transportation division as a Junior Civil Engineer. In this position, you will collaborate with experienced professionals on stimulating and impactful projects that enhance community living standards. Your primary responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting Project Engineers in the creation and formulation of roadway and highway construction contract documents utilizing advanced CADD software, including MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
  • Assisting in the identification of construction pay items and calculating quantities and cost estimates.
  • Contributing to the development of construction specifications and specification packages.
  • Evaluating and analyzing viable design alternatives by comparing factors such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way needs, impacts on existing utilities, feasibility of construction, and overall project costs.
  • Conducting standard calculations and research assignments.
  • Participating in design meetings and collaborating with team members.
  • Preparing documentation including letters, memos, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and project timelines.
  • Recording design decisions for future reference.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Engineer Intern Certification or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe from the start of employment.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with CADD software is preferred.
