We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Financial Representative Trainee to join our team at Mutual of Omaha. As a member of our sales and marketing team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies to promote Individual Insurance products to clients.

**Job Overview**

The Financial Representative Trainee will participate in an intensive training program designed to equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in selling Individual Insurance products. This comprehensive program includes a combination of self-study, hands-on experience, and classroom instruction, all tailored to a structured curriculum.

**Key Responsibilities**

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales, marketing, and customer service to launch their careers in the financial services industry. As a Financial Representative Trainee, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to promote Individual Insurance products to clients;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal business partners and clients;
  • Participating in goal-setting sessions and progress evaluation meetings to ensure alignment with company objectives;
  • Overseeing completion of content, proposals, and paperwork flow throughout the field and Home Office to ensure seamless application and underwriting processes;

**Requirements and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high level of motivation and self-discipline to achieve criteria of Trainee Program;
  • The ability to pass and apply for appropriate insurance licenses within 14 days of entry into the job, with a maximum of two attempts at the Life and Health exam;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders;
  • The ability to travel up to 50% of the work period and maintain a valid driver's license to attend appointments and meetings;

**Benefits and Compensation**

We offer a competitive salary of $16/hour for up to 30 days, with opportunities for advancement to a Financial Representative position with a base salary of $36,000 per year, plus monthly sales incentives. Additionally, you will receive benefits, including a 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match, regular vacation time, paid holidays, and sick leave.
