Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in plumbing and fire protection system design to join our team at GRAEF. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze plumbing and fire protection systems for various types of facilities.
  • Produce plumbing construction documents for various types of facilities.
  • Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend regular meetings.
  • Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit and design for various projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection system design for commercial, office, healthcare, hospitality, educational, institutional, industrial, and other similar building types.
  • Understanding of NFPA 99, ASHRAE 170, and the FGI Guidelines as they specifically apply to hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and medical office buildings.
  • Experience in design of Medical Gas systems is preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
