About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer Specialist to join our team at Dragados. This is a unique opportunity to work on exciting infrastructure projects and contribute to the delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review construction and utilities plans to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Update conflict matrices daily to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Maintain close collaboration with project crews to review production schedules, confirm resource availability, and ensure timely completion.
  • Analyze shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements, and project data to guarantee quality and contract compliance.
  • Provide technical input for project work plans and scheduling, identifying risks that could impact the budget or schedule.
  • Detailed scheduling and coordination with stakeholders, including utility owners, clients, and construction management teams.
  • Maintenance of accurate records, meeting minutes, and cataloging outstanding issues for resolution.
  • Assign priorities to responsible personnel and conduct calculations for planning and assessing conflicts.
  • Effective cost control management, including budget management and approval of invoices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Field Engineer.
  • 2 years of experience managing people and processes.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, P6, and design software.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
Compensation

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, reflecting the company's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
