Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our clients, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care: Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of pets, provide preventative care, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Communicate effectively: Educate clients about pet health needs, diagnosis, and treatment, and ensure clear communication with the veterinary medical team.
  • Work collaboratively: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest veterinary techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
  • License in good standing with the applicable state veterinary board
  • License with the Drug Enforcement Agency
  • Proven ability to perform basic surgeries
