Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Animal & Customer Care Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to animals and delivering outstanding customer service to our visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Safely and comfortably handle a variety of domestic animals, clean and disinfect animal rooms, cages, and supplies, feed and administer medications to animals, and maintain accurate records of animal wellness and behavior.
  • Customer Service: Greet visitors in a friendly and courteous manner, provide information about our shelter and services, and assist potential adopters in finding the perfect pet.
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains clean and safe for animals and visitors.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma (required), Associate's Degree (preferred)
  • Experience: 1-2 years customer service experience preferred
  • Skills: Polite and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, and willingness to perform moderate to heavy physical labor.
