Job Title: Demand Planner

Univar Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in managing the forecasting and inventory requirements process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute demand and inventory plans to meet sales and service objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a detailed forecast to the supply group and ensure timely delivery.
  • Lead forecast and inventory planning meetings, review recommended sales forecasts, and inventory goals.
  • Analyze and improve forecasting techniques, methods, and approaches.
  • Manage inventory targets, including safety stock levels and min/max levels.
  • Develop and communicate forecast and inventory metrics reports to management.
  • Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing, Supply Planners, and others to increase forecast accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain/Operations, Finance, or minimum 5 years of Demand Planning and/or Forecasting experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities with knowledge of statistical and mathematical computer programs and modeling techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP/Planning & Forecasting Systems and demand forecasting techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement.
