Job Summary

The Inventory Control & Planning Manager will be responsible for building a high-performing team that identifies opportunities within our case inventory and develops processes to ensure our legal operation remains accurate and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to facilitate inventory control operations and drive business growth.
  • Review case stages, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Own the capacity models to determine labor needs based on demand and forecasts, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Define, measure, analyze, improve, and control processes to ensure cases remain visible and stay on track, enhancing the client experience.
  • Partner with leaders across the firm to identify inventory needs and develop strategic plans to meet those needs.
  • Build and direct a team to maintain inventory standards, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Build reports and dashboards to enhance visibility and inform business decisions.
  • Use data to analyze and identify inventory needs, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Create a culture of inventory accuracy, ensuring that every client receives exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading inventory control teams and developing strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Ability to develop and forecast capacity labor models, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft business applications and various reporting software.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Possess a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline-driven environment, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional ability to build reports and dashboards, with a deep understanding of inventory control practices and terminology.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of managerial experience, and supply chain experience with Lean principles preferred.
