Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated professionals for the role of Unarmed Port Security Officer. This position requires a Florida Class D license and a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (T.W.I.C.).


Job Details:
  • Locations: Various Port Facilities
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Night Shift
  • Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, Sunday
  • Shift Hours: 19:00 - 07:00
  • Compensation: $17.05 to $20.05 per hour, with initial training at $12.00 per hour
  • Overtime: Available

Training:

Initial orientation training is provided, followed by site-specific training to ensure all officers are well-prepared for their duties.


Key Responsibilities:

As a member of our Critical Infrastructure Security Team, you will:

  • Collaborate with local and federal law enforcement agencies.
  • Safeguard lives and assets in compliance with Homeland Security regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of reliability and professionalism.
  • Control access to secured areas and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid Florida Class D license.
  • Ability to obtain a T.W.I.C. credential.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • At least one year of experience in security or supervisory roles.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to different job sites.
  • Access to a smartphone and computer with internet capabilities.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and document handling.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of maritime security regulations.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Military or law enforcement experience.
