About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Marksman Security in Tampa. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deter criminal activity and protect property
  • Enforce rules and regulations on the property
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position
  • Patrol areas and conduct security checks
  • Provide protection for equipment and workers
  • Check the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises
Available Positions
  • Rover: Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism, thefts, or other criminal activity
  • Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access to the property
  • Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, provide customer service, access control, and monitor CCTV camera systems
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid FL Security D License
  • Valid FL Driver's License
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
