Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently perform tasks outlined in repair orders in alignment with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and evaluate components and systems utilizing diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including but not limited to engine, transmission, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs and provide time estimates for further repairs.
  • Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is mandatory.
  • A level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Strong dexterity, requiring steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and basic computer skills.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
  • Enjoyment of a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Capacity to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
