Responsibilities:- Collaborate with assistant group supervisors to plan and implement daily lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in infants.
- Design and maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment that fosters curiosity and exploration.
- Engage with children during playtime, meals, and daily routines, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school.
- Conduct child assessments and participate in parent-teacher conferences to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
- Mentor new and less experienced staff members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to support their growth and development.
- Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience working with young children, preferably in an infant or toddler setting.
- Must qualify as a Group Supervisor with DHS and pass state, federal, and child abuse background checks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs, see, hear, and sit on the floor with children.
- Must be patient, nurturing, and able to create a positive learning environment.
- Full-time, year-round position with a competitive hourly rate ($17.50-$19.50, depending on experience and education).
