Production Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity standards are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing high-volume production processes, knowledge of computer software, and a strong understanding of OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, manage, and monitor production workflow to achieve safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Develop and implement plans for efficient labor utilization and staffing needs
- Evaluate and troubleshoot systems and processes that impact production efficiencies
- Monitor and address equipment repairs, maintenance, and safety concerns
- Partner with maintenance and engineering to optimize equipment performance and reliability
- Create and promote an environment that encourages exceptional customer service
- Provide leadership in developing the workforce, including recruiting, selecting, and developing hourly employees
- Mentor and empower employees through delegation and coaching
- Support and administer company policies and procedures consistently
- Ensure good housekeeping in all areas of the facility
- Meet or exceed all performance and productivity standards
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures
- 2 years of manufacturing experience in fast-paced, lean manufacturing environments
- Experience managing high-volume production processes
- Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office and JD Edwards
- Demonstrated compliance with OSHA standards in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide expected results
- Maintaining regular and predictable attendance
- Communicating effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Working cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
- Following verbal and written instructions
- Successfully completing drug and background screenings
