About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team as an Infant Teacher in our Early Head Start Program. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing activities to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of infants as they transition into toddlers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans for a classroom of 8 infants aged 6 weeks to 20 months.
  • Collaborate with a co-teacher and receive support throughout the day from an aide to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Support the development of our students and families through regular communication and documentation of observations using Teaching Strategies Gold and Creative Curriculum.
  • Utilize LENA technology to enhance language development in infants and toddlers.
  • Communicate child routines with parents through Procare Software and Remind messaging.
Requirements
  • CDA Certification or 12 College Credits in Early Childhood Education (Required)
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Psychology (Preferred)
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged.
