Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate mechanical engineering statements of work.
- Assess design and construction scopes of work.
- Manage contractor submissions and inquiries.
- Oversee the design and production of Statements of Work for both new and renovation initiatives.
- Act as a representative at construction sites.
- Conduct inspections at construction sites, providing reports on quality and progress.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations at construction sites.
- Propose engineering solutions to identified issues.
- Deliver effective communication through both oral and written formats.
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical and plumbing design is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software is essential.
- Possession of a Secret Clearance is necessary.
- Understanding of construction methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with engineering specifications and statements of work.
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality control inspection tools.
- Experience with AUTOCAD and similar design software.
- Capability to provide engineering solutions and communicate effectively.
