Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical/Automotive Engineer to support our Washington Area Operation. As a key member of our team, you will accelerate your career and contribute to the development, testing, and analysis of major U.S. air, land, and sea combat systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional mechanical, automotive, and systems engineering expertise and services in direct support of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Program Manager.
  • Conduct engineering analysis, including automotive design, systems integration, vehicle performance predictions, and C4ISR systems integration.
  • Support PM MHTV in conducting SE Technical Reviews for system-level and subsystem-level designs and ECPs.
  • Observe the integration of hardware onto the platforms and the execution of tests; and review test plans and reports.
  • Formulate analysis and recommendations related to issues arising during integration and testing of ECPs.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation as outlined in accordance with the Defense Acquisition Guidebook and USMC Systems Engineering (SE) policy and requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong mechanical/automotive engineering capability and experience.
  • Knowledge/background in military systems; ground vehicle experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and develop/review technical documentation with high quality and technical accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work on dynamic team, and directly support Government Project Leads and Engineers.
