Explore Industries is a leading manufacturer of composite fiberglass swimming pools, seeking a skilled Fiberglass Fabricator to join our team in Knoxville, TN.

This role involves laminating fiberglass on molds using pneumatic spray guns with fiberglass strand chopper attachments, ensuring a quality laminated product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laminate fiberglass on molds using pneumatic spray guns
  • Remove entrapped air and smooth out the glass and resin mixture
  • Ensure quality laminated products

Requirements:

  • Experience working with fiberglass lamination or a similar industry
  • Ability to pass a pulmonary function evaluation
  • Ability to wear a respirator
  • Flexibility and willingness to cross-train within the department

Preferred Skills:

  • 1 or more years as a laminator or gun operator
  • Knowledge of chemical handling and disposal
  • Experience using resin, glass, catalyst, gelcoat, and related materials
