Explore Industries is seeking a skilled Fiberglass Laminator to join our team in Knoxville, TN. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for laminating fiberglass on molds using a combination of resin, catalyst, and pneumatic spray guns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laminate fiberglass on molds using pneumatic spray guns with fiberglass strand chopper attachments
  • Remove entrapped air and smooth out the glass and resin mixture to ensure a high-quality laminated product
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience working with fiberglass lamination or in a similar industry
  • Ability to pass a pulmonary function evaluation
  • Ability to wear a respirator
  • Flexibility and willingness to cross-train within the department and help in other departments
  • Experience communicating effectively in a team environment
  • Punctuality, dependability, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of experience as a laminator or gun operator, or working in a field involving gel coating, auto body repair, or similar fiberglass experience
  • Knowledge of chemical handling and disposal
  • Experience using resin, glass, catalyst, gelcoat, and related materials
