Job Description

Job Summary:

The Third Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations and facilitation of 3rd shift duties and responsibilities within the Intensive Treatment Programs at Bellefaire JCB. This role involves providing direct and administrative supervision to the program and staff, including hiring, evaluation, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Supervision: Provide direct supervision of staff and clients during scheduled shifts, including during instructional, therapeutic, and recreational activities.
  • Administrative Supervision: Provide administrative supervision to the program and staff, including hiring, supervision, evaluation, as well as disciplinary actions and termination of employees. Oversee staff scheduling and obtain staff coverage when necessary.
  • Staff Development: Support, enhance, and evaluate staff skills through positive and effective role modeling and training, ensuring consistent and quality service is delivered. Lead effective therapeutic interactions between staff and clients.
  • Treatment Planning: Contribute to the development and delivery of each client's individualized treatment plan and schedule.
  • Training and Development: Participate in residential and departmental training sessions and workshops as part of staff development programming.
  • Meetings and Communication: Attend staff meetings, treatment conferences, team meetings, supervision, and other meetings. Provide trainings as needed to staff and supervisors.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide therapeutic crisis intervention when needed.
  • Collaboration: Maintain appropriate relations with other programs as well as other providers. Provide care management or other services on behalf of clients, or as assigned by the Program Clinical Supervisor or Director.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associate's Degree required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
