Core Responsibilities:
- Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol purchases.
- Present menus, respond to inquiries, and take food and beverage orders from guests and/or serving staff.
- Prepare a variety of drink orders, including wine, liquor, and beer.
- Prepare appetizers and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitor seating arrangements in the lounge/bar area to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
- Calculate bills and process payments, maintaining accurate sales receipts.
- Mitigate issues related to excessive drinking by implementing measures such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management of potential concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of bars, work areas, tables, glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Ensure the kitchen and lounge station are tidy, and restock supplies at the end of each shift.
- Organize and oversee the operations of the lounge/bar area.
- Prepare fruit for drink garnishing and create visually appealing displays of bottles and glasses.
- Develop unique drink recipes and conduct weekly inventory of liquor, food supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure all temperature and waste logs are accurately maintained on a daily basis.
- Inspect foodstuffs and supplies upon receipt to confirm quality and quantity meet established standards.
- Ensure proper reporting of tips for tax purposes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
