The Automation Control Specialist plays a crucial role in the final assessment of control systems. This position requires technicians to execute program uploads and system verification, as well as diagnose issues and fulfill service requests at various locations. Proficiency in Tridium, Honeywell, and Johnson FX Controls is advantageous. Previous experience in control systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities


• Upload programs to field devices as specified by engineering.


• Conduct Point to Point verification of all supplied control apparatus and third-party devices.


• Address control service requests.


• Diagnose and rectify wiring complications.


• Terminate control panels effectively.


• Offer technical support to installation teams.


• Assist in Testing and Balancing procedures.

Required Skills


• Previous experience with Tridium – AX/N4 certification is a plus.


• Familiarity with Honeywell and JCI field controllers is beneficial.


• Knowledge of ladder logic control programming.


• Understanding of electronic wiring principles.


• Comprehension of electrical circuits.


• Awareness of State and Local Electrical regulations.


• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.


• Knowledge of Mechanical HVAC Systems.


• Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in controls installation or equivalent accredited training.


• Possession of a valid Driver's License.
