Automation & Controls Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation & Controls Engineer to join our team at Mark Anthony Brewing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing troubleshooting and maintenance support for all automation and controls systems in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instrumentation and controls troubleshooting support for manufacturing operations team
  • Work with electronic control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control elements used in automated processes
  • Test instrumentation and control systems and maintain test equipment
  • Consult manuals, read and interpret circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
  • Repair and adjust controls system components or remove and replace defective parts
  • Install control and measurement instruments on existing or new plant equipment
  • Provide training to maintenance technicians and operations team on equipment use and troubleshooting
  • Work on assigned continuous improvement projects assigned by CI leadership team
  • Foster collaborative and organizational learning
  • Provide process engineering support for manufacturing operations
  • Proficient with personal computers and business applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
  • 3 to 5 years applicable experience in industrial manufacturing (brewery experience a plus)
  • Certified Allen Bradley (Studio 5000, Factory Talk SE and ME, and AssetCentre)
  • Experience with high-speed packaging equipment desired
  • Must be willing to work overnight shift
