Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation & Service Technician to join our team at Kemp's Machine Company, Inc. As an Installation & Service Technician, you will play a critical role in the successful installation and post-installation service of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks, troubleshoot equipment, and diagnose faulty operation to ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of complex machinery and equipment.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance measures to enhance equipment longevity and reduce downtime.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other team members to enhance system performance, document and maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities, and communicate effectively with customers to provide clear instructions and resolve any problems.
  • Travel and Customer Service: Travel up to 40% of the time to customer sites, including international destinations, to conduct installations and obtain factory certifications, and work directly with customers to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during or after installation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong track record in successful equipment installations.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Independence: Ability to work well independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, including international travel.
  • Qualifications: Must possess a valid passport, experience and knowledge of low voltage electrical systems a plus but not required.
