Parts Inventory Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Parts Inventory Specialist to join our team at Summit Toyota. The ideal candidate will have one year of experience in a dealership and excellent people skills to interact with customers and internal staff.

Responsibilities
  • Determine parts needs and accurately specify them
  • Create and modify purchase orders
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors
  • Record warranty parts returns
  • Special order parts on the dealership computer system and notify ASM, technicians, or clients upon receipt
  • Review special order parts tracking
  • Process and close open invoices
  • Verify invoice quality and quantity against requisitions
  • Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued
  • Conduct ongoing warehouse parts inventory
  • Attend weekly department meetings
Requirements

High school diploma or GED; One year of dealership warehouse experience and/or training; Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, based on experience and industry standards. Our associates enjoy a number of benefits, including:
