Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to a panel of approximately 450 patients
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, and chronic pain
  • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team, including nurses, medical support assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen (non-citizen may be considered in accordance with VA policy)
  • Must have a current, active, and unencumbered U.S. state medical license
  • Must be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Benefits
  • Annual salary range of $200,000 to $243,000, including biennial longevity pay increases
  • Opportunity for an annual performance pay bonus up to $15,000 or 7.5% (whichever is less)
  • 26 days of vacation with pay, 13 days sick leave, 11 federal holidays observed, and continuing medical education (CME) opportunities
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance with premiums partially offset or paid by the government, as well as retirement portability
  • Participation in the Federal Employee Retirement System (DB) and Thrift Savings Plan (DC) with 5% matching
