Job Summary:

The Senior Treaty Account Executive will be responsible for generating and retaining profitable treaty business in the US. This role requires strong marketing and client service skills, as well as underwriting expertise. The successful candidate will work closely with our Underwriting Team and Account Specialists to develop skills and knowledge to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to engage with clients and promote our reinsurance solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including senior management and underwriting teams.
  • Collaborate with the Underwriting Team to design and implement reinsurance solutions that meet client needs.
  • Participate in client underwriting reviews and provide qualitative and quantitative perspectives on client portfolios.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our reinsurance solutions remain competitive.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Property or Casualty underwriting or 15+ years of (re)insurance company financial management.
  • Proven track record of success in generating and retaining profitable treaty business.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
