Job Summary

This Advanced Practice Nurse position with VA North Texas Health Care is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled healthcare professional to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. Key Responsibilities

* Conduct initial histories and physical examinations on patients
* Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and non-invasive diagnostic tests as needed
* Conduct evaluations and progress notes on patients presenting to the pain clinic
* Accumulate, correlate, and present data on patients to the physician responsible
* Perform venipuncture and arterial puncture as required

Requirements

* Master's degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner
* Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
* Basic Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a nationally recognized certifying body
