About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our culinary team at Embassy Suites in Rockford. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen area, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the kitchen area is clean, well-maintained, and organized at all times.
  • Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards.
  • Collect and remove trash from all areas of the operation.
  • Carry out general cleaning as directed, including sweeping, mopping, washing, emptying of rubbish bins, and boxes.
  • Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and other minor equipment routinely used.
  • Wash, wipe, sort, and stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher in an organized and safe manner.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and proficiency to operate industrial dishwashers.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependability and regular attendance.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
