Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring accurate policy updates and account information.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to address policy and coverage-related questions and concerns.
- Marketing and Quoting: Responsible for the marketing and quoting process for new business and account renewals, identifying opportunities to grow the business.
- Renewal Management: Identify, compile, and manage information regarding account renewals, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients and carriers.
- Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating, with experience working with various carriers and their underwriters.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems, with experience using Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360 software.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including data entry and record-keeping, to ensure accurate and efficient account management.
- License: Possess a Property & Casualty Insurance license.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in independent agency or retail broker settings.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
