About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Western National Group. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our apartment community's facilities, ensuring that our residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, masonry, and appliance repair and installation.
  • Work with the maintenance team to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance issues and take proactive steps to prevent problems.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including management and resident services, to ensure that maintenance work is completed in a way that meets the needs of our residents.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our apartment community's facilities, including systems, equipment, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, masonry, and appliance repair and installation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation required.
