Job Title: X-Ray Tech Full Time Part TimeJob Summary

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, adhering to approved radiology techniques and policies.
  • Process images, review for proper identification and quality control, and prepare images for reading by physicians and radiologists.
  • Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments, following approved standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
  • Complete forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed.
  • Assist with administrative and clinical needs, such as patient registration and medical assisting duties.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of a state-recognized vocational school.
  • Experience as a back office medical assistant/limited X-ray tech in an ambulatory care facility or medical group practice.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Windows.
  • Certificate of completion from an accredited limited radiology program, including digital training.
  • XT X-ray permit in torso, extremity, chest, and digital imaging.
  • MA certificate.
  • Current CPR certificate.
